Odom Hydrographic Systems

Naismith Marine was delighted with the performance of an Odom Hydrographic ES-3 Multibeam Echo Sounder rented from Ashtead Technology during a recent project.

The project was proposed using a single-beam echo sounder. They were able to complete it faster with the ES3, and at the same cost as it would have been for single-beam.

Overall, Jim Naismith was delighted with the performance of the equipment. The ES-3 performed better than expected. It handled the steep transition from 50 to 8 feet depths. The line-to-line checks showed very consistent data. He added further "It was a team effort that resulted in our first survey with the ES-3 being a complete success. Thanks again!"
